Borderless Knowledge Lecture: Research in the Time of COVID

Since February 2019, the Borderless Knowledge Lecture Series has featured CEU faculty, leading Hungarian experts and well-known public figures discussing recent scientific findings and their direct impact on contemporary life. The last installment, broadcast in English earlier this summer, focused on social research conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic.

From “we-health” and privacy, to emerging policy perspectives, the CEU professors showed how their research can address health, social, economic, legal and cultural impacts of the outbreak.  Sharing their research on the pandemic, the speakers introduced potential interventions as well as ideas regarding how the world will be altered as a result of COVID-19.
