The Hungarian government has invested a lot of money and energy in building a relationship with the American far-right (Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson), for which it was willing to sacrifice the bilateral Hungarian-American partnership, she argued, adding that the list of invitees also clearly delineates the Hungarian Prime Minister's limited room for maneuvering.
"The lack of important guests is also reflected in the language of the program description: the epic adjectives forced on the official conference website are also intended to compensate for the lack of truly important participants," she said.
