EU Commission Report Refers to DI’s Roma Civil Monitor Project

The European Commission’s Assessment Report of the national Roma strategies relies on the project implemented by a consortium led by the CEU Democracy Institute, and including European Roma Grassroots Organisations Network (ERGO Network), Fundacion Secretariado Gitano (FSG) and European Roma Rights Centre (ERRC).

In the “Assessment report of the Member States’ national Roma strategic frameworks,” the European Commission’s (EC) Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers concludes that the national plans of the Member States vary considerably in applying common features and minimum commitments set out in the EU strategic framework.

The assessment report refers several times to our project and is accompanied by a Staff Working Document, which summarizes the findings of the project’s country assessment reports.
