History as Democracy

RevDem assistant editor Bence Bari interviews László Kontler, Research Affiliate of the CEU Democracy Institute’s Democracy in History workgroup and lead researcher of the project “History as Democracy.” They address questions such as: through what perspectives can we examine history as a science that both contributes to and reflects on the concept of democracy? How did history become more democratic in recent decades, and what challenges have arisen because of this? What kind of scholars will be involved in the project’s upcoming events?
