The CEU Democracy Institute congratulates DI Co-director Renata Uitz on her appointment as Professor of Law and Government at Royal Holloway, University of London (Department of Law and Criminology).
Alongside her appointment at Royal Holloway, Renata will become a senior research fellow at the DI, continuing her ongoing research projects on illiberal democracy, constitutionalism and the rule of law, including Towards Illiberal Constitutionalism in East-Central Europe.
"Renata's vision, curiosity and creativity have helped shape the DI's research agenda in a consequential period. We wish her great success in her new role within the University of London and look forward to pursuing joint projects on the future of democracy in Europe and around the world," said DI's Co-director, Laszlo Bruszt.
