Miroslaw Wroblewski Appointed President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland

We are happy to share the news that our Senior Research Fellow at the Rule of Law workgroup and Director of our Rule of Law Clinic Miroslaw Wroblewski has been appointed President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland.

Miroslaw Wroblewski

Miroslaw Wroblewski is an attorney at law, political scientist, expert on constitutional, European and human rights law. Since 2007 he has been Director of the Constitutional, International and European Law Department in the Ombudsman Office in Warsaw. He has been involved in the most important rule of law cases in front of Polish courts, ECt.HR and CJEU. He is also an expert on data protection and new technologies law. 

Between 2012 and 2017, he was a board member of the EU Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA). Since 2019, he has been a member of the board of European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI). He is also an editor, author, or co-author of 80 academic publications.
