András László Pap is Research Professor and Head of Department for Constitutional and Administrative Law at the Eötvös Loránd Research Network (formerly Hungarian Academy of Sciences) Centre for Social Sciences Institute for Legal Studies. He is also Professor of Law at the Institute of Business Economics at Eötvös University (ELTE) and at the Law Enforcement Faculty of Ludovika University, as well as Research Affiliate at CEU Democracy Institute, Rule of Law Research Group in Budapest, Hungary. He is also Adjunct (Recurrent Visiting) Professor in the Nationalism Studies Program at the Central European University in Vienna. A former visiting scholar New York University School of Law Global Law Program, and a SASPRO-Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at the Institute of Sociology of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in Bratislava, his research interest include comparative constitutional law, human rights, law enforcement, in particular hate crimes, discrimination and the conceptualization of race and ethnicity.
