Borbala joined the Democracy Institute (DI) in July 2023 as Program Manager for the DI Leadership Academy. Prior to joining CEU, she worked at the Institute of International Education (IIE) European Office, managing various scholarship programs in Europe.

She received her degree in American Studies from Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences, studied abroad at Bard College, NY and obtained her MA degree in International Relations and European Studies from CEU.
