Eszter is completing her Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree Programme TEMA+ in 2023, between ELTE (Budapest) and EHESS (Paris). She researches the 1989 Hungarian democratic transition, particularly in the art field through the history of József Attila Kör.
In addition, her interests also include memory politics and the shaping of public memory and consciousness through memorial practices, public space, museums, historical and literary narratives.
During her bachelor’s studies in Hungarian Language and Literature, she was also a member of the College of Advanced Studies in Social Theory (Társadalomelméleti Kollégium) and is currently the editor of the Hungarian language social theory quarterly Fordulat.
Eszter is currently an intern in the Inequalities and Democracy work-group at the Democracy Institute working on the History of Our Struggles – Resource Bank about Hungarian Social Movements project.
