Gaspar Bekes

Debate-series Convener

Gaspar Bekes is a project coordinator and debate-series convener at CEU’s Democracy Institute and István Bibó Free University. He is responsible for public outreach and education programs regarding civic rights and topics of interdisciplinary policy.  

As an independent researcher, his main focus is on interdisciplinary environmental science, sustainable city networks, and environmental security. He holds three Master’s degrees: Environmental Science and Policy MSc from CEU, Sustainable Cities MSc from King’s College London, and International Security MA from Sciences Po Paris. He also has an English language BA degree in International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest, and is a graduate of the Budapest City Diplomacy Academy.
