Marsha Siefert is an Associate Professor of History at CEU. She specializes in cultural and communications history, particularly media industries and public diplomacy, from the nineteenth-century to the present. Among her six edited books, some focus on Eastern Europe and others address world communication and information infratructure. Her teaching in the new Erasmus+ MA program, History in the Public Sphere, has rekindled topics related to globalization, new media, and narrative; her ongoing research addresses Cold War cinema, music and technology, creative labor, and postwar documentary film.
