Sarah Ganty

Sarah Ganty is a FWO Postdoctoral Fellow at the Human Rights Center of Ghent University, where she introduced the concept of Merizenship. She is also a J.S.D. candidate at Yale Law School and Co-president of the YLS European Law Association. Sarah's publications include a monograph dissecting the concept of ‘migrants’ integration' in EU law, published by Larcier,and articles appearing in the Human Rights Law Review, European Journal of Risk Regulation, European Journal of Migration and Law, European Convention on Human Rights Law Reviewand Maastricht Journal of European and Comparative Law. Sarah holds an LL.M from Yale Law School, a master’s degree from Université Catholique de Louvain. Her Ph.D. is from ULB Brussels. She taught at various places including CEU, the Facultés Universitaires Saint-Louis, Brussels and ULB.Sarah is interested in immigration law, social justice, anti-discrimination law, citizenship law, as well as the study of the EU legal system.
